Our Story
Hi, I’m Sean—dad of two great daughters, husband to a wonderful wife, and founder of Booger Kit.
Booger Kit started in a place I didn’t expect: a children’s play at my daughter’s school. My oldest was in it, and like any proud parent, I was sitting in the audience soaking it all in. But while watching, I noticed something I couldn’t ignore—all over the room, little fingers were wandering up into little noses. Not one or two. A lot. I laughed to myself, then had a lightbulb moment: this isn’t just a phase… this is universal.
It didn’t matter where the kids were from or what their background was—they were all doing the same thing. And I knew in that moment: every parent deals with this. We all say “Stop picking your nose!” more times than we can count… and it rarely has a lasting effect.
That night, I got curious and started researching how other parents try to get their kids to stop picking. There was plenty of advice, articles, and expert opinions—but no real tools. No hands-on products that made it easier to have that conversation in a way that actually worked for kids. And certainly nothing that would make a lasting memory.
I realized if there was going to be a solution, it had to be something visual, something fun, something a little gross (in a good way), and something that opened up a positive, curiosity-driven dialogue between kids and their parents.
My daughters have always loved science kits. When they get to experiment and ask questions, they’re hooked. So I thought—what if I turned this gross habit into a science moment?
That’s how Booger Kit™ was born. A simple, kid-powered science experiment that helps them see what’s actually living in their nose—and gives parents a brand-new way to talk about hygiene and habits.
Booger Kit isn’t just a kit—it’s a conversation starter. It’s fun, memorable, educational, and yeah… a little bit disgusting. But it’s also a real tool that’s helped real families—and it can help yours too.
