Booger Kit Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your Booger Kit purchase. Our return and refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and parent-friendly, following common practices in the children’s STEM kit industry. Like other leading STEM kit brands, we allow returns of unused kits within a 30-day window​ and we are happy to replace any broken or missing components to make things right​. Below you’ll find all the details on how our returns, exchanges, and refunds work.

Eligibility for Returns

To ensure the best experience for all our customers, we can only accept returns that meet the following conditions:

  1. Unused and Undamaged: The kit (and any included materials) must be in like-new condition, unused and not damaged​. This typically means it should be in its original packaging and not have been played with or experimented on. We cannot accept returns if the kit has been used.

  2. Within 30 Days of Purchase: You must request the return within 30 days of the original purchase date​. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or returns for items past this 30-day window.

  3. Applicable to All Kits: This returns policy covers the main Booger Kit as well as any refill packs or upgrade kits you have purchased. Refill and upgrade kits must also be unused and meet the same conditions above to be eligible for return.

If your item doesn’t meet these criteria (for example, it’s been opened and used, or the request comes after 60 days), we may not be able to process a return or refund. If you’re unsure about your kit’s eligibility, feel free to reach out to our support team for guidance.

How to Initiate a Return

Initiating a return is easy. Just follow these steps within the 60-day return period:

  1. Contact Us: Get in touch with our Customer Care team to request a return. You can reach us by email or phone (see the Contact section below). Please have your order number or proof of purchase ready, and let us know that you’d like to return your Booger Kit.

  2. Return Instructions: Our team will provide you with instructions for the return, including the address to send the kit back. We may issue you a return authorization number (RMA) for reference. Please pack the kit securely in its original box (if possible) to ensure it isn’t damaged in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return for peace of mind​.

  3. Shipping Costs: Please note: customers are responsible for the return shipping costs on general returns​. We do not provide prepaid return labels for unwanted items, so you will need to arrange and pay for shipping the kit back to us. (If the return is due to a mistake on our part or a defective product, see the next section — we’ve got you covered in those cases.)

  4. Return and Refund Processing: Once we receive your returned kit, we will inspect it to make sure it meets the return conditions (unused, undamaged, within 30 days). We’ll then process your refund in full to your original method of payment​. We strive to process returns quickly; typically, you can expect your refund to be issued within 5–7 business days after we receive the return. (Please note that your bank or credit card company might take a few extra days to post the refund to your account.) We will notify you via email once your return has been received and your refund has been issued.

Exchanges & Replacements for Damaged or Missing Items

Your Booger Kit is packed with care, but if any part of your kit arrives broken, damaged, or missing, we’re here to help with a hassle-free exchange or replacement:

  1. Missing Pieces: If you open your kit and discover a part is missing, simply contact our Customer Care team. We will send you the missing piece free of charge right away. You do not need to return the entire kit just for a missing item.

  2. Damaged or Defective Items: In the unlikely event that your Booger Kit (or any component of it) arrives damaged or isn’t working as it should, let us know immediately. We will exchange the damaged kit for a new one or send a replacement part, at no cost to you​. In most cases, we will ship out the new item as soon as possible so your child can get back to exploring. We’ll also provide prepaid shipping or make other arrangements if we need the original item back, so you won’t have to pay extra in these situations.

Important: Please report any missing or damaged components as soon as you notice the issue (preferably within 60 days of purchase). Our goal is to ensure you receive a complete and functional kit. We take these matters seriously and will work quickly to correct the problem, whether that means sending out a replacement piece or a whole new kit. Your child’s learning and fun are our top priority!

Refunds

For returned items that meet our criteria, we offer a full refund of the purchase price. Here’s how refunds work:

  1. Method of Refund: All refunds are issued to the original form of payment you used. This means if you paid by credit card, the refund will go back to that same card; if you used PayPal or another payment method, the refund will be sent to that account​.

  2. Refund Timeline: Once your returned kit arrives and is approved for refund, we will process the refund right away. You will receive an email confirmation when this happens. Depending on your bank or credit card, it can take a few additional days for the refund to appear in your account. If it’s been over 10 business days since you got our refund confirmation and you still don’t see the credit, please contact us and we’ll help investigate.

  3. Shipping Fees: If you paid any original shipping fees when you bought the Booger Kit, please note that those are generally non-refundable unless the return was due to our error. (For example, if we sent the wrong product or a defective item, we will of course refund any shipping you paid as well.) Return shipping costs that you incur are not refunded, as they are paid directly to the shipping carrier.
